OID

for

SNMP

Probes
You
can

configure

OID

queries

t

o

probe

t

he

server.

When

t

he

ACE

sends

a

pr

obe

with

an

SNMP

OID
query,
the

ACE

uses

the

retrieved

value

as

input

to

the

least-loaded

algorithm

for

load-balancing
decisions.
Least-loaded

load

balancing

bases

the

server

selection

on

the

server

with

the

lowest

load
value.
If

the

retrieved

value

is

within

the

configured

threshold,

the

server

is

marked

as

passed.

If

the
threshold
is

exceeded,

the

server

is

marked

as

failed.
The
ACE

al

lows

a

maximum

of

ei

ght

OID

queries

to

pr

obe

the

ser

ver.
