CSM

CSM-S,

the

VM

name

must

be

in

uppercase

because

the

CSM

and

CSM-S
real
server

names

are

always

in

upper

case

and

the

mapping

is

case

sensitive

though

the

CSM
and
CSM-

is

case

insensitive.

vSphere

Client,

you

can

change

a

VM

name

to
uppercase
by

right-clicking

on

th

e

VM

d

choosing

Rename.

real

Ignore—ANM

any

mapping

method.
ANM
can

detect

when

VMs

are

added

or

deleted

to

a

VMware

vCenter

Server

by

listening

to

the

server
events
or

by

polling

the

server.

When

a

new

VM

is

detected,

ANM

uses

the

IP

match

method

to

try

and
match
the

new

VM

with

a

real

server.
