Meaning
Some characters have multiple meanings according to the variant of the
standard character set used when the message is output (MSG7(X) macro or
/HELP-MSG-INFORMATION command). These characters have the hexadecimal
codes X'4F', X'BB', X'BC', X'BD', X'FB', X'FD' and X'FF'
(see EBCDIC.DF.03 character code).
To ensure a correct output in any case, such characters should not be
used.
MSMW506

Meaning
Although created in a message file, messages with ACCESS-METHOD=MINIMIP
are ignored by MIP.
Such messages are created for generation in a CSECT with the
GENERATE-CSECT function of MSGMAKER. Then the CSECT must be integrated as
component of the BS2000/OSD CP.
Meaning and response texts are never generated in a CSECT with
GENERATE-CSECT.
Response
To allow MIP to process this message from a message file, another access
method (ILAM, DLAM, ...) must be added to MINIMIP.
MSMW900
